Lori & Rob are getting married in just about two weeks!!  I’m looking forward to their wedding at the Hotel Du Pont.  Lori grew up in South Jersey, but her family’s business is based in Philadelphia, so she spent some of her time in Philadelphia, and at Di Bruno Bros.  Her Grandfather’s business – known as “Di Bruno Bros. – The House of Cheese” has been a Philadelphia staple since 1939.  Her Grandfather was an Italian Immigrant straight from Ellis Island!  The original Di Bruno Bros. opened in Philadelphia’s 9th Street Italian Market – that’s where we started Lori and Rob’s engagement session.  From there we were off to the new Rittenhouse Square location where old photos hang of Lori’s Grandparents (Lori wanted some pictures in front of them).  Next, it was off to one of the most popular locations in Philadelphia for wedding photography – The Philadelphia Art Museum, but not before making a quick stop at Love Park, and then Water Works, right behind The Art Museum.

Vanessa and Tony are having a destination wedding in Tampa in September!  They are both from the great state of New Jersey !  We met them at the Tampa Museum of Art & the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.  From there, we talked over to the campus of the University of Tampa.  On the way back, we captured some beautiful nighttime photos of the couple.  The Curtis Hixon Waterfront park features a shooting fountain – what a great photo opportunity!  Vanessa & Tony agreed — and even got a little wet in the process.

Tony and I met the summer of 2008.  The night we met, I had planned to stay home but some how my friend convinced me to go out for drinks.  As soon as we walked into the bar, we saw Tony and his friend, I immediately caught his eye.  We made eye contact a couple of times and I remember telling my friend, “that guy won’t stop looking at me!”  About half hour before closing he finally got the courage to talk to me.  The next day he asked me out on a date.  We have been together ever since and I couldn’t be happier to be marrying my best friend  🙂

Here’s a preview of Tom and Lindsey’s destination wedding at the Pink Shell Resort & Marina  on Fort Myers Beach.  Family and friends flew down from Wisconsin for this wedding!  Many more pictures to come soon!

Here’s a preview of Abbey and Tim’s beautiful destination wedding held on Sanibel Island, Florida at the Sundial Beach and Golf Resort.  Check back soon, we’ll have more images.

Below Abbey shares with us how it all got started between the two of them….

Tim and I met during the summer of 2007. I was bored that summer, which is completely unlike me haha, and decided to get a job. A new Bertucci’s was just opening in the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, MA so I headed over and applied for a job. I had absolutely no restaurant experience, but I managed to get an interview. The first person to interview me was Tim. It was honestly love at first sight. At one point during the interview instead of asking me what my availability was to work, Tim instead asked me if I was available. Being the awkward and silly person I am, I giggled and said that actually yes, I was available. Then I proceeded to tell him my days and hours of availability. Of course Tim was mortified and laughed, responding with some excuse about how he was new to the interviewing process and to excuse him. After that I can’t remember much, except that he was so handsome and lovely! After the interview I went home and the first thing I said to my Mom was, “I met my husband today!” Of course she was like what are you talking about.. I thought you went for a job interview?? Anyway, I got the job! After a few weeks of working and flirting Tim decided to join a few employees, including myself, for a night out. Now.. this was completely frowned upon as he was a Manager and was not supposed to hang with employees outside of work. Still, he came. We exchanged numbers, went on more dates, went to each others houses.. and not long after Tim asked me to be his girlfriend! Someone at work ended up telling the General Manager at the time that the two of us were dating and upon finding that out I was given an ultimatum. Since it was frowned upon for employees and managers to date, I was given two choices – either stay at Bertucci’s and stop dating Tim OR keep dating Tim and I could either quit or get fired. I made the decision right then and there to give my notice and stay with Tim.. and the rest is basically history! I moved on to finish college and find other jobs, and Tim stayed at Bertucci’s where he is now the General Manager of that restaurant. And of course we kept dating, moved in with each other, got engaged, and now we are finally married!! And that’s our love story! ;0)
