According to an article in USA Today, more than a third of recent marriages in the USA started online. \u00a0The Journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences<\/em>, put the percentage of married couples that now meet online at almost 35%. 45% of couples met on dating sites; the rest met on online social networks, chat rooms, instant messaging or other online forums. Jessica and Steven are part of that 45 percent! They met on the dating site Match.com! Here’s what Jessica had to say about finding love online and why she decided on a Southwest Florida destination wedding.<\/p>\n

We actually met on match.com back in 2011. We chose Lovers Key State Park because I had been going down to Ft. Myers Beach with my family since I was young and always dreamed of getting married on the beach. Then, it was Steve and my first trip together and we went to Lovers Key State Park on that trip and loved it.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

We were hoping the rain wouldn’t start on Jessica & Steven’s wedding day, and we were able to manage getting through the ceremony without a sprinkle. \u00a0We usually do our family and formal images right after the ceremony. \u00a0It started to drizzle a bit with some thunder and lighting – but we got it done, and it cleared up enough to grab some amazing shots of the couple. \u00a0Summer weddings in Florida always make for an amazing sky during sunset! \u00a0Jessica didn’t even mind getting her dress wet towards the end – check out the pics! \u00a0Also, thank you Jessica for the amazing review below!<\/p>\n
