Jessica and Cameron are getting married at the Powel Crosley Estates in Bradenton, Florida.  We decided on the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art for their engagement session!  The beautiful architecture, rose garden, and banyan trees make for the perfect setting!   In 1911, John Ringling and his wife, Mable purchased 20 acres of waterfront property in Sarasota, Florida. Today, visitors come from around the world to appreciate fine art, a historic mansion, two circus museums, and a theater!  After our photo-shoot at the Ringling Museum, we headed down to the Lido Beach Resort where Cameron asked Jessica to marry him.  We were lucky enough to grab some gorgeous sunset photos!  Jessica & Michael have known each other for several years, but reconnected after a period of time thanks to a phone call from Cameron!  The rest is history, and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the gorgeous Powel Crosley Estate in December!

We love doing photo-shoots at Vizcaya in Miami – it’s so beautiful!  The former estate of James Deering is now a museum and Italian Renaissance styled garden owned by Miami-Dade county.  Deering built the property in the 1910’s, and lived there during the winters until his death in 1926.   It has served as the set for several main stream Hollywood movies including Tony Rome, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Any Given Sunday, Bad Boys II, Airport ’77, Haunts of the Very Rich, and The Money Pit.  It has also been used as a meeting place for dignitaries such as President Ronald Reagan, and the Pope.  Whitney and Tony are getting married in October of this year and thought it would be a perfect spot for an engagement shoot!

Jessica & Michael are from the Chicago area.  The two met while Jessica was working at Michael’s law firm.  Jessi says she fell in love with Michael outside of the office while working on a real estate case together.  The two were married at the LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.  A Naples destination LaPlaya wedding had always been a dream of Jessica’s.  She loved the area, and did all the research online — and made it happen.  The couple had a great day with plenty of sunshine…..  this is Florida afterall!  The sunset didn’t disappoint this destination couple either!  The day got off to a great start with Hope Henderson of Hope Artistry applying Jessica’s makeup in her room at Laplaya.  The guys got ready at the LaPlaya Resort just across the street.  Libby’s Flowers from Fort Myers created Jessica’s beautiful floral arrangements.  Ella’s Cakes of Naples did the baking.  Dominick Buonantuono of Mobile Sound Entertainment kept the crowd on their feet all night long — even including a killer mix of Rick Springfield’s Jessie’s Girl.  His multicolored LED up-lighting really made the reception feel special.  Peter Irberseder of Irberseder productions captured it all on video.

Miriam and Brad contacted me for a family photo session including their new addition, Brooke!  We decided on the downtown area of Fort Myers, Florida.  If you recognize Miriam, it’s because she’s the Morning Anchor on the local Fox station in Fort Myers.  She met Brad while previously working at the local CBS station, WINK-TV.
