The Knot magazine awarded us as one of the best wedding photographers in the Southwest Florida market! Only a few photographers received this award. The Knot determines who gets the award by how many customers review a particular business. They judge the number and quality of the reviews. We had so much fun shooting Heather & Brian’s engagement photos at Lakes Park in Fort Myers, Florida. We rented canoes and I let them do their thing while I photographed them from afar! It was our first time shooting on a canoe, but the pictures came out great! Check out this awesome review Heather wrote below. We can’t wait until their 2011 wedding coming up!

My fiance and I are working with Joe for our 2011 wedding. From our first meeting he has worked with us on our budget and hasn’t restricted us to picking a photo package like other photograhers. Joe cares so much about photography and its apparent in his work. We recently shot our engagement pictures with Joe and they are exactly what I wanted, romantic and timeless. Check out this slide show of Melissa & Nick’s engagement session, set to two of the couple’s songs. We took the photos near the pier in Naples and on Gordon Drive. It was raining hard when we were driving to the location, but it cleared just in time for some great photos!

During my trip home to New Jersey I was contacted by a high school friend who saw some of my work online. She wanted a group family portrait of all the grandchildren in her family to give to her grandmother as a gift. There were a total of 15 grandchildren! What a great group of kids (and adults) 🙂 ! We ended up doing some other portraits on the beach with members of the family as well. The photos were taken in Atlantic City in front of an old pier they wanted in the shot. Check them out!
