This is a portrait of the bride and groom at sunset at the Ritz Carlton resort in Naples, Florida. Although the sun already set, we utilized our off camera flash to balance the light on the bride and groom with the bright background. When choosing a wedding photographer it's important to pick a person who knows how to photograph with both natural light and strobe (flash). Having just one skill or tool on the wedding day is not enough when photographing weddings. The wedding can have many different lighting conditions throughout the day, some unpredictable. Often photographers call themselves "natural light" photographers when they don't understand how to use flash. One benefit of getting married at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, is the beach in front of the hotel. Beachgoers not staying at the hotel cannot sit on the beach near the resort. This often makes it easier to get photos without people interrupting.
